Disclaimer

Even though many customers report immediate pain relief, this may not be the case for you. It may take longer to get rid of your tennis elbow / golfer's elbow and of course the Masalo sleeve may not help you. Epicondylitis is a medical problem and medical issues are always individual. The healing process is different for everyone and depends on many factors. For legal reasons alone, we cannot and must not give a healing guarantee. Good recovery!

Countertraction is very good, what do I do when bending?

March 2, 2014

Hello everyone, I have had the cuff for about 2 weeks now. You can really feel the effect of the countertraction when stretching the arm. My problem is that I also have a lot of pain when I bend my arm. Is there any suggestion as to what I can do in this case?

Thank you and greetings from Cologne 🙂

Answer from Masalo Cuff Switzerland

Hello Mr. Erdinc, thank you very much for your entry. It is quite difficult to give you the right advice based on the little information we have. Please give us a call so that we can resolve this over the phone. Basically, there is a possibility that you are affected both laterally and medially, i.e. you may have both tennis elbow and golfer's elbow. This is not uncommon. In this case, it is advisable to adjust the upper arm strap a little tighter so that you are more likely to achieve relief (even with a bent arm). This is particularly important if you have to work a lot at a computer, for example. Golfer's elbow is usually more stubborn than tennis elbow and requires a little more patience. Try to counteract it as often as possible, as this relieves the tendon insertions and promotes the healing of the existing injuries. If you can only stretch your arm with extreme effort for a few days, this is completely fine. As a rule, you don't have to fully extend your arm that often in everyday life and it is helpful to get more countertraction and relief. You can continue to do this after a short time as soon as there is a clear improvement in flexion. If possible, you should move your arm as often as you can, including doing sport. But please do not play table tennis in the near future (the injuries here are caused by extremely rapid twisting of the wrist and the Masalo cuff can hardly do anything to prevent this). Weight training, handball, tennis, golf etc. should be possible. Stretching exercises are also a good idea, but only with the support in place, otherwise you run the risk of tearing the tendons again and again. For stretching exercises, you can adjust the upper arm strap further so that the arm can be fully stretched. However, please be careful with these exercises. Do not overdo it. In short, anything that moves the muscles and keeps them elastic is good. I wish you continued good recovery. Kind regards Harry Röder

The principle not only works... It almost works like a miracle.

February 20, 2014

Hello Mr. Röder 🙂

Many thanks to you for your courteous manner in advising us and finding solutions!

The principle not only works... It almost works like a miracle. As I told you, I was able to go bowling again after less than a week's gestation.

I notice a clear improvement in my situation when I wear the cuff. If I take it off, the symptoms start again (although - in my opinion - the longer I wear it, the less severe they become). So I wear the Masalo cuff almost all the time and I don't feel restricted or bothered by it in any way... On the contrary!

Thank you again most sincerely!

Kind regards

A great piece!

February 9, 2014

Hello, after months of discomfort, my colleague advised me to get the cuff. After some initial skepticism, I was surprised. The counter-pull principle is really worth its weight in gold when working under pressure in the house and garden. I hardly noticed the pain anymore. Of course, not all pain is gone immediately, but I was surprised at what I could suddenly do again. A great piece!

The only thing that helps sustainably

February 4, 2014

Hello to all,

The cuff is really the only thing that really helps with the recovery of tennis elbow in the long term.

Apart from operations that I didn't want to do,

but having tried everything else, I can only recommend this cuff to everyone. It's still in my tennis bag today, even though my arm is completely healed.

Initially, I evenwore themat night. They improved relatively quickly. You are welcome to contact me for recommendations.

Greetings

Hello Mr. Röder,

I would like to thank you very much for the speedy delivery of my "custom-made product"!!!

Now the cuff fits and has the desired effect!

Now that I have also found a good physiotherapist, I have canceled an already planned operation.

Thank you very much for your kind advice and quick help.

Greetings from the far north!
