Disclaimer

Even though many customers report immediate pain relief, this may not be the case for you. It may take longer to get rid of your tennis elbow / golfer's elbow and of course the Masalo sleeve may not help you. Epicondylitis is a medical problem and medical issues are always individual. The healing process is different for everyone and depends on many factors. For legal reasons alone, we cannot and must not give a healing guarantee. Good recovery!

Pain largely gone

September 24, 2021

The pain is really noticeably reduced after 20 minutes, but I was also hoping for full hand functionality, which unfortunately isn't there. For example, when I use the impact wrench and exert pressure on the device, I notice that my fist doesn't reach the pressure it used to and I still feel a stinging sensation in my elbow. I was hoping to regain full functionality and complete freedom from pain, but neither is possible when working. Perhaps I am too impatient and expect too much too quickly. I hope that it will improve after 1 month, I will give feedback again if I may.

Addendum: Thank you for the quick reply, and if necessary I move the upper arm cuff or adjust it a little tighter and thank goodness the pain without strain is gone, otherwise I would certainly not have ordered 2!

Mayer

Answer from Masalo Cuff Switzerland

Hello Mr. Maier, 3 star ratings actually mean that you are not really satisfied with the product. However, you ordered a second support because the first one worked very well. Our sleeve helps very well, as you have noticed yourself. However, you really can't expect everyone to experience no more pain immediately and with every possible strain. After all, tennis elbow doesn't happen overnight, it has been around for a while. So healing also takes time. You will get rid of your epicondylitis, I am quite sure of that. But it also takes patience and small "setbacks" are quite normal in the healing process. You can work, which is better than not being able to work. If you now also adjust the support tighter as described for heavy loads, i.e. for more effect, most work will be possible without pain. Rotational movements (e.g. with a screwdriver) or even blows to the tendon insertions can still lead to strain pain. The Masalo Cuff MED helps very well, but unfortunately it can't work miracles either. To be honest, I personally don't think 3 stars is appropriate. Well, there are hardly any negative reviews and yours is not negative apart from the 3 stars. As we do not censor and publish everything, your report is also online. We wish you a continued good recovery. Kind regards Harry Röder

Really good

August 25, 2021

After the first application, the pain relief in everyday life was easily reduced by 70%. Now I hope that everything heals quickly.

I wish that the cuff was offered in more dirt-resistant colors, it looks really shitty after 2 days of work. Colors like black or anthracite would help here.

Christian Haas

Answer from Masalo Cuff Switzerland

Hello Mr. Haas, thank you very much for your feedback. If you are already achieving 70% pain reduction as described, then you should make progress very quickly. Yes, you are right. The white color is not ideal for many users, which is why we have already developed a black support. This is now in the approval process, but this cannot be estimated in terms of time and depends on many factors (tests, etc.). We are working hard on this. In the meantime, I recommend that you put something over the cuff to protect it from major soiling. Some of our customers do this with, for example, a piece of sleeve from an old long-sleeved shirt or something similar. It is a makeshift solution, but it works. I sincerely wish you a speedy recovery and if there is anything wrong, please get in touch with us. Kind regards Harry Röder

Masalo cuff

August 22, 2021

I can only recommend the cuff...I have already tried several braces and nothing has helped. Since I have been wearing the Masalo cuff, the pain has improved - you just have to wear it consistently.

Very good invention

Vera Hauch

Answer from Masalo Cuff Switzerland

Dear Ms. Hauch, thank you very much for your feedback. We are very pleased that the Masalo cuff is also helping you. Then the support should also be applied correctly 🙂 Nevertheless, we would be happy to take another look if you could send us 2 photos of your arm with the support applied via our contact form or by email. It is often possible to optimize the fit with a few tips and thus achieve an even better effect 😉 If you like, we will be happy to help you and wish you a good recovery. Best regards Harry Röder

Super!

August 17, 2021

I've only had the cuff since today and I'm delighted with it. Firstly, it was quite easy to find a medical supply store that had my size in stock and secondly, my GP didn't know about this cuff yet, but she was immediately willing (after googling it) to write me a prescription.

At the medical supply store, I was shownhow to put them on straight awayand already on the drive home I noticed the first relief.

Of course, as a health insurance patient you have to pay a lot more, but you have to for many things nowadays and it seems to have really paid off here. And I would have bought it privately, so I still saved money.

Vanessa Röltgen

Answer from Masalo Cuff Switzerland

Hello Ms. Röltgen, thank you very much for your lovely feedback. That's exactly how it should be, you should feel a clear relief immediately. However, I would still recommend that you read the enclosed brochure in full and at your leisure. In addition to the instructions, it contains many helpful tips on how to get over epicondylitis more quickly. I must also tell you that your current situation does not mean that you are cured. The epicondylitis is still there and really needs patience. You should also monitor any inflammation, do something about it if necessary and, if possible, perform massages or have them performed (physiotherapy). As it is often the little things that significantly improve or worsen the effect, you are welcome to send us 2 photos of your arm with the brace on by email or via our contact form. This will allow us to take a look at everything and perhaps give you a few helpful tips. We would also be interested to know how much you had to pay. This varies from retailer to retailer and we would like to keep it within reasonable limits. In any case, please let us know if there is anything wrong. We are always happy to help 🙂 We wish you a speedy recovery. Kind regards Harry Röder

It took a long time but the pain is gone.

August 13, 2021

I wore the cuff for almost a year, but then it got noticeably better. Now the pain has disappeared completely. I tried everything to get the pain from my tennis elbow under control, but nothing helped.

I'm glad it's over now. I still wear the cuff today when Ihave to do heavywork.

Helmut Abeln

Answer from Masalo Cuff Switzerland

Hello Mr. Abeln, thank you very much for your feedback. That really took you an exceptionally long time and was probably a really bad case of tennis elbow. But now you've managed it. You're doing exactly the right thing: if you experience heavy strain, simply put on the cuff as a prophylactic measure to prevent a new injury from occurring in the first place. However, if you forget to do this, put the cuff back on immediately afterwards. In our experience, the problem is resolved within 1-3 days in such cases. I wish you all the best and may you be spared tennis elbow in the future 🙂 Best wishes Harry Röder
